Inspiration can be taken from colour schemes, stationery, dresses, flower details, hobbies, interests, in fact almost anything, and incorporated into the design of your wedding cake. During our discussions, either at consultation or by email we can talk about all your aspirations for your cake and favours. Using our experience and with details of your special day we can create the perfect design for you, as simple or decorative as you like.

Naked, Semi-Naked Cakes & Buttercream Cakes
Cakes that are filled and/or finished with buttercream. There are many different styles and variations, and lots of different ways to decorate these cakes, which can include fresh seasonal fruit, fresh flowers, and/or shortbread hearts, macarons, chocolate truffles etc.
These types of cake can be organised without a design consultation.
Hand Painted Cakes
Beautiful hand painted designs are increasingly popular and offer a totally unique and personal way to decorate your cake. Whether you take inspiration from your florals and foliage, wedding stationery or anything else, colours and compositions can be discussed and tailored to your specification. You can also add favours with similar designs to complement your cake, helping with the consistency of your day.
Sugar Flowers
Here at Blossom Dream Cakes sugar flowers are one of our passions and we love to create beautiful flowers and foliage to complement your cake. Anything from a single beautiful statement flower, or a single arrangement or two to a full flowing cascade. All handmade and carefully arranged to create a truly wow factor for your special day.
Rustic style
Why not bring in some gorgeous wood effects? Birch bark, driftwood, log slices, wood planks, there are so many possibilities, colour them how you like and add some sugar or fresh flowers to create a feast for the eyes.
Simply fabulous when teamed with naked or semi-naked tiers too!

Because your wedding is as individual as you are! And we want it to be what you want it to be. So if you want something a little out of the ordinary then just ask, and if we can do it, we will. In fact, it would be our pleasure.

We are delighted to have the skills to be able to create the most beautiful and delicate details piped with Royal Icing, either to decorate a whole cake, or more usually to supplement other wonderful design features such as lace work, stencilling and of course sugar flowers and foliage.
